CURRICULUM

In October 2019, Serenella Terlizzi obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Marche Polytechnic University, with a thesis entitled “Evaluation of the QT interval in preterm babies”. 

She then continued her education at the Polytechnic University of Milan, graduating in December 2021 with a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on “Technologies for Electronics”, discussing a thesis entitled “Data analysis to evaluate surgeon performance in an ex-vivo setup”.

She then started her work experience by undertaking an internship in R&D in the field of biomedical instrumentation, for a Swedish company based in Milan. Subsequently, she continued her career as a Validation Engineer at major pharmaceutical companies in Monza and Switzerland.

Since 1 October 2023, she has been a research fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (DIISM) of the Polytechnic University of Marche.

Her research interests are mainly addressed in the following topics:
